Established Manila Japanese School in Sampaloc, Manila in 1918
Completed the first school building in 1918
Showa 12 20th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony Held
Showa 18 Renamed to Manila Japan National School
Showa 19 Closes 28 years of history due to the intensification of the war
Postwar school
1968 Opened Japanese language supplementary class
1972 Elementary and junior high schools start full-time classes
1975 Elementary 4th and 5th grade students start full-time classes
Approved by the Philippines as Manila Japanese School attached to the embassy
1976 Full-time classes start for both elementary and junior high schools
1978 Newly built school building, relocated to Paranaque school building
1988 Held a ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its founding
Received research designation from the Ministry of Education in 1994
1998 Held a ceremony to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the founding
2001 Newly built school building, relocated to Taguig school building
Received research designation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2004
2008 celebrates the 40th anniversary of its founding
2015 Taguig School Building 15th Anniversary
Held a ceremony to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of 2018
