Please start the transfer process using this form.
Please read our admission requirements carefully before submitting your application.
Please prepare a photo of your passport and Japanese Association membership card.
Please apply using the transfer admission form. After confirming receipt of your application, our school office will send you an email with information on the transfer admission procedure.
Our school accepts transfer students throughout the year, regardless of the beginning of the new school year or each semester, so if you would like to transfer, please contact us.
Information on admission procedures for transfer students in 2025
1. Target audience: 1st grade elementary school students to 3rd grade junior high school students (all grades)
2. New transfer application acceptance
① Please read the MJS Handbook and, if you agree to the admission requirements and other terms, please apply using the application form .
② After receiving and confirming your application, our school office will send you an email with information on the transfer procedure.
3. Individual transfer exam schedule
(1) Adjustment of individual test dates and times:
We will adjust the schedule based on your family's preferences.
(2) Location: Manila Japanese School, classrooms
(3) Test content: The purpose is to check your child’s Japanese language ability and learning ability appropriate to their age and grade level.
・For elementary school students: Japanese and mathematics (2 subjects) for about 30 minutes
・For junior high school students: Japanese, mathematics, and English (3 subjects) for about 30 to 40 minutes
4. Results
The results will be announced immediately after the exam is completed .
5. Start of school
Once you pass the exam, you can start attending classes the next day.
